Fire Alarms

Fire is among the most serious dangers we face and, according to statistics provided by the Home Office, there are more than 100,000 fires in buildings every year, sadly resulting in the death of around 600 people. The obvious emotional and financial losses of such risks are incalculable and, as a result, reliable and effective fire detection and alarm systems are essential to minimise the risks.

Metroline Security has been installing and maintaining a vast range of fire alarms to businesses and residential clients throughout Kent for the past twenty years.

Whether you need a brand-new fire detection system installed or would just like a professional specialist to look after an existing system, we have the experience and skills to look after your requirements.

Metroline Security maintain and install fire systems from small domestic fire alarms through to large, multi-site commercial premises.

We are proud to be BAFE-registered and approved - BAFE is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to improving standards in fire protection supported by government, trading standards and the HSE.

BT Redcare

BT Redcare offers the most secure form of alarm monitoring available, the service provides continuous monitoring of a BT telephone line that links a professionally installed alarm system on a customer's premises to an Alarm Receiving Centre. The result is continuous protection of our customers' property, every second of the day, 365 days a year.

How could a fire affect my business?

Fire damage can be severe if left unnoticed and insurance payouts following a fire can take months. In this time your business may be unable to operate normally, if at all.

You may:

  • Be unable to fulfil major orders
  • See business go to your competition as a result
  • Need to lay off experienced (and hard to replace) staff who do not have the facilities to carry out their job
  • Experience cash flow difficulties
  • Undergo insurance / police investigation - can you prove "duty of care" and BS5839 compliance?
  • Lose irreplaceable stock / documents

By simply adding Redcare monitoring to an existing fire alarm system you can ensure that the Fire Brigade are immediately notified once your alarm detects a fire, even if it's 3am in the morning and there is no-one around.
